Fireside Chat with Minister of State Alvin Tan

The NUS PPE Club had the esteemed privilege of welcoming Minister of State Alvin Tan, a distinguished individual who has made remarkable contributions to Singapore's growth and development, on the 21st of July, 2023.

MOS Tan shared candidly about his personal journey, and it was truly inspiring to witness his unwavering perseverance which led him to seize numerous opportunities and benefit from the guidance of exceptional mentors.

As a club dedicated to nurturing the ambitions and dreams of our undergraduates, we are grateful for the valuable advice MOS Tan imparted. Emphasising the significance of surrounding ourselves with guidance, cultivating grit, and dedicating ourselves to hard work, his words resonated deeply with all those in attendance. His experiences in diverse fields also offered valuable insights and sparked a new enthusiasm to pursue their goals relentlessly.
