Interviews

Collation of interviews that we have conducted with past speakers. Ranging from politicians and policy makers to faculty members, these interviews serve to provide a deeper insight into the various lives that are led by individuals in society.


On 7th November 2023, we sat down to have a chat with Mr Chan Kok Hoe, Lecturer from the Department of Economics, as part of a series of interviews with faculty members.

On 9 June 2022, the NUS PPE Club had the opportunity to interview distinguished guest MP Jamus Lim, who shares his opinions on tax policies in Singapore.

Jamus Lim is a member of the opposition Workers' Party, he has been the Member of Parliament representing the Anchorvale division of Sengkang GRC since 2020.

On 17th February 2021, the NUS PPE Club had the privilege of interviewing distinguished guest Prof. Kishore Mahbubani, who shares about his life as a student, diplomat and academic.

Prof. Mahbubani is a Distinguished Fellow at the National University of Singapore's (NUS') Asia Research Institute, a former Permanent Representative for Singapore at the United Nations (UN), as well as a former President of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) from 2001 to 2002 and Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy from 2004 to 2017.
